Phil’s rare musical treat

By Hollie Harris

The Phil Emmanuel band is coming to the Tewantin Noosa RSL club Saturday 3 June, 8pm in the Bistro.
Phil Emmanuel is known as Australia’s Greatest Electric Guitar player and has a resume of amazing performances with musical legends that any musical enthusiast would envy.
Glenn A. Baker said “Phil’s musical prowess is so astonishing that there are times when the man becomes the guitar and the guitar becomes the man”.
Phil’s musical roots stem back to the ’50s, ’60s and ’70s his style and preference has largely been defined by the classic guitar sounds of this era. His musical influences include guitar great Hank B. Marvin, The Shadow’s, the Ventures and the Beatles. It has been said that his fingers look like a demented spider running up and down the guitar, which has earned him the nickname “The Wiz”.
He is bringing along his band to the RSL which will ensure everyone is in for a great night out.
Head to the RSL along for a rare musical treat, you won’t be disappointed, and don’t forget to book the courtesy bus.
