Six Steps To Healing

Join Author Mary Atkins, author of A Journey of Creative Healing My Story of resilience, remission and recovery through daily creative projects as she presents ‘Six-Steps to Healing’ at Annie’s Books of Peregian.

Mary Atkins is the author of Finding Your Voice: Ten Steps to Successful Public Speaking and Losing You, a novel about overcoming adversity and the redemptive power of love. A Home Economist, she is the Past President of the Australian Association of Food Professionals. Mary is also an award-winning speaker who currently travels the world lecturing on cruise ships.

Mary’s vibrant presentation illustrates her remarkable story of healing from overwhelming grief and profound illness more than 50 years ago. She reveals how listening to your intuitive voice, exploring creativity in all its guises, can deliver recovery from disease and trauma.

She examines the six-step program she took in her recovery and compares each step with recent affirming scientific research. She hopes that his will inspire and help others to find their own path to health.
