Come listen to Aboriginal elder Uncle Eugene Bargo and learn how to observe the bush, learn where and when there is seasonable abundance and when to plant and harvest.
Uncle Eugene is a proud Goreng Kabi man.
His country is Burri Burri and Nargo. Founder of a native flower nursery, he will share his insight into “the importance bush flowers play in the survival of a forest”.
His talk titled Bringing Native Plants into your Life is presented by Noosa and District Landcare and will be held on Thursday 16 November from 5pm to 7pm at the Rural Futures Centre, Pavilion Street, Pomona. Free to landcare members and $10 for others.
RSVP by Monday 13 November to info@noosalandcare.org or phone 5485 2468.
