Rolling along together

Calling all skaters!
The first ever skating day will be held at the Noosa Leisure Centre on Sunday 5 February and all women over 18 are invited.
The skating group first started when mother-of-two Tanya Stevens of Tewantin put the call out on Facebook. Within minutes the Tewantin resident was overwhelmed with responses.
Since then Tanya has been working closely with the Noosa Leisure Centre which supported her dream to have a large space where keen skaters can safely roll together.
“I can’t believe it’s happening,” she said.
The first ever roller skating group will be held at the Noosa Leisure Centre this Sunday 5 February from 10am until noon.
Skaters need to bring four wheel skates, not inline, and the cost to skate is only $11 per person.
Anyone who would like more information can contact Tanya via her group Facebook page, Tewantin/Noosa Rollers.
