New take on Snow White

THE J and Sunshine Coast-based theatre company, Jally Entertainment, are proud to present Snow White and the Seven Cool Dudes. Poor Snow White, she is growing more beautiful every day and her stepmother, the Queen has become very jealous.
On Snow White’s 16th birthday, she has been promised a day off from all the household chores, but it could be just a cruel trick.
Will the Queen send her away to live alone forever or will Snow White’s friends come to her rescue?
During this very inter-active production, children will enjoy lots of role-play as they are invited onto the stage to become a variety of characters- including the Cool Dudes who love to rap.
The audience will also become a part of the play as they participate in the action offstage with song and dance.
This modern adaptation of an old favourite includes characters such as the very clever Magic Mirror, the Hunter, the Seven Cool Dudes and their personal trainer, lovely Snow White and the nasty and wicked old Queen.
The show is perfect for kids from Prep to Grade 6, with a running time of about 50 minutes and the chance to meet the characters after the performance.
Snow White and the Seven Cool Dudes will be at The J on Thursday 24 September at 11am.
Tickets are $15 for adults, $13 for children and concession and $12 for vacation care groups and are available online at www.thej.com.au, via phone on 5329 6560 ($3.50 phone transaction fee applies) or at The J Box Office, 60 Noosa Drive, Noosa Heads.
