NYRC win Community Benefit Fund grant

NYRC are excited about new additions to their fleet.

By Linda Grams

Thanks to the Community Benefit funding, Noosa Yacht and Rowing Club has been able to upgrade their rowing training fleet for a sustainable future for the present and future rowing community.
Four new single sculls will be on their way from Victoria.
These boats will be used for the transition rowers to use for the purpose of fitness, recreation or racing.
The new boats will add to the previous upgrade of plastic Learn to Row boats funded through NYRC and the “Get Going” funding.
This gives the new rower a much more stable boat which in turn creates confidence on the water.
The club is ready to start our next season of Learn to Row commencing Saturday 30 September.
