Red carpet spectacular

THE Zonta Club Noosa is ready to roll out the red carpet and pull back the curtains for the inaugural Cabaret En Rouge night that will be full of music, dancing and something quite special.
The Cabaret En Rouge night is the organisation’s major fund-raising event for the year and while Noosa Today can’t reveal all the details about the planned performances, we can reveal there will be live acts, dancing, singing, music and much more.
All funds raised from the night will go directly towards supporting community projects such as self-help workshops, resources for domestic violence survivors and birthing kits for women in third world countries.
The Zonta Club Noosa members work hard each year to also provide care packs for women in crisis accommodation, as well as bursaries for women studying at the University of the Sunshine Coast and scholarships for young women who want to study trade and aviation.
Since establishing in 1993, the Zonta Club Noosa has raised over $500,000 to help women throughout Noosa and the world and they hope to raise even more funds through the Cabaret En Rouge night.
The cocktail-style event will be held on Friday 11 November, at the RACV Club Resort, Noosa Heads, and would be perfect for a Christmas Party. Tickets are $80 per person and available now through www.trybooking.com or 0414 920 485.
