Pennants croquet

Players from the Noosa Croquet Club are taking part in the Sunshine Coast Regional Croquet Clubs pennants competition with teams in all three codes of croquet – association, ricochet and golf.
The current comp runs over some months, for both singles and doubles, and there have been some very competitive matches with some good wins and a few close losses. Results for May are as follows: on Monday, 26 May, Noosa’s Golf croquet team defeated Coolum 6 games to 4. In ricochet on Thursday,15 May, Hans van Moorst and John Olsen of Noosa played Nambour and won 2:1.
In association croquet on Wed, 21 May, John Olsen teaming with John Philpott, played Caloundra at home, the result once again being 2:1.
Our club is located at Seashell Place, Noosaville, telephone 5434 2077. Organised croquet games are played seven days a week on five excellent grass courts. Visitors are most welcome and “Come and Try” sessions are held at 10am on the first Sunday of each month. Free lessons are available and new members find that they are able to join in the social sessions very quickly.
If you are looking for an outdoor, social sporting activity why not drop in and see one of the most attractive croquet venues in Queensland. Come and try croquet, you will be pleasantly surprised!
