A tradition at stake

AUSTRALIA Day is loved by many Aussies who celebrate the great things our country has to offer by firing up the barbecue.
Celebrate our national day the true blue Aussie way with some classic barbecue dishes or if you’re feeling adventurous try adding a modern twist to old classics.
If you’re too busy to sort out a menu, no worries, the team from Eumundi Meats have a myriad of choices to tempt everyone’s palate.
Traditionally, lamb is the hero of this celebration and here are a few different options to consider.
* Tomahawk steaks are a great choice and a sure-fire way to impress your guests. For those unfamiliar with this cut think lamb cutlet but much, much bigger. The tomahawk is the large rib eye beef steak attached to the bone and is ideal served on the table then carved and shared between four or more people.
* Why not add a hip twist to your dish with low and slow lamb or pork shoulders for sliders.
* For something with maturity try a rib on the bone or T-bone from the dry age cabinet. These steaks have been aged with care to provide you with depth of flavour and tenderness.
* If there are some little ones attending the festivities fill their tummies with chicken or lamb kebabs, sausage rolls or mini pies served with Eumundi Meats Peter Watson Tomato Sauce.
* If your seats are filled with food-conscious guests, perhaps a paleo follower, don’t worry, Eumundi Meats have a signature paleo sausage and burger range for even the most discerning guest.
* For the gourmet foodies there’s butterfly quail, venison, duck and French-style terrine.
From quintessential Aussie treats to a gourmet food adventure, let Jon and the team from Eumundi Meats help you to make Australia Day 2016 one to remember.
