NOOSA’S first Originals Music Festival will take place on September 13 and there’s some big name acts on the line up.
The Noosaville AFL grounds on Weyba Rd will host the gig with ticket prices $40 for adults, $25 for 13 to 17-year-olds and $5 for under-12s.
Music fans will have the chance to hear performances from bands such as Ash Grunwald, Sticky Fingers, Kingswood, Bonjah, OKA, Delta Riggs, Bec Laughton, In2Nation, Soula, Sahara Beck, Electrik Lemonade and Ayla.
Festival organiser, Marcus Pluckhahn, said the support from the community had been “overwhelming” and he thanked everyone involved including Noosa Councillor Frank Wilkie for their hard work and commitment.
“I’ve received hundreds of email in support of the Original Music Festival,” he said.
“I received a few emails from Sydney, Melbourne and I had one from the USA recently – all voicing their support and interest in the festival.”
Since Noosa Today broke the story, Marcus said Facebook had also lit up with comments and messages of support.
“There’s been an incredible response from Facebook and we’re releasing the new poster with additional event details soon,” he said.
