THINK Hawker Hall meets Floating Market in this quirky yet fun concept where the Asian street market culture is brought to life while afloat on the Noosa River.
As a part of the Brisbane Times Good Food Month 2016, Noosa Boathouse will play host to this roaming lunchtime street market feast and will let you wander through the transformed market place, stopping at a variety of indoor street market stalls while taking in the 180-degree water views.
Chef Shane Bailey’s delicious Asian-inspired street food is not the only star of the show. Craft beer, wine and cocktails will also be available to wash down one dish and onto the next. Eat your way through your ‘food passport’ and enjoy the journey through South East Asia.
The menu includes Mooloolaba prawn rice paper rolls, steamed pork and ginger dim sum, pengang spicy beef satay skewers, fragrant Thai green chicken curry, tea smoked Ora king salmon and salt and pepper chicken spare ribs.
There will be chilled out afternoon tunes and the bar will stay open till late, so kick back and enjoy the sunset with friends.
Tickets are $49 per person and include six street food items. Limited tickets are available and must be pre purchased online at www.noosaboathouse.com.au
