Market takes art to the people

All proceeds from sales go directly to the artist.

THE Old Railway Station Gallery will hold the annual Spring Art Market on Saturday 22 October with a chance to pick up amazing art pieces at a great price.
The market will start at 9am and run until 1pm and there will be a range of stalls exhibiting original paintings and drawings, ceramics, woodwork, handcrafts, jewellery and more, making this the perfect opportunity to buy quality art and craft at affordable prices direct from the artists.
Nothing is priced over $100 and all proceeds go directly to the artist. The aim of the market is to promote local artists and artisans and to give the public an opportunity to meet and talk with the creative community.
Be entertained by Flashjack, who will play a mix of Celtic and Old Time Swing, plus homemade goodies and refreshments will be available for purchase.
An exhibition of Wildlife Art titled “Companions” by Erica Evans will be on display in the Railway Carriage and a series of paintings by Gwen Cook titled “Fruit, Flowers and Fabric” will be on display in the Banana Shed.
Enjoy the Art Market, take the time to visit the Country Markets in Stan Topper Park, and explore the lovely village of Pomona.
The Old Railway Station Gallery is at 10 Station Street, Pomona.
