Every year as spring approaches, Peregian Beach celebrates local food and fashion in the village square.
Coordinated by the Peregian Beach Business Association, the event always attracts a great crowd of locals and visitors.
This year attendees will wine and dine as they enjoy styles and smiles from 11am until 2.30pm on Wednesday 6 September.
Seven local restaurants will prepare a special two-course lunch starting off with a glass of bubbles. And there is a cash bar.
Each restaurant will prepare its own style of cuisine and diners will enjoy their meals and entertainment under marquees in the picturesque square.
Meanwhile models representing local boutiques will parade their latest designs on the catwalk under the trees.
Every year the event raises money for a different charity and this time the PBBA has decided to sponsor SmartPups, those wonderful dogs who are trained to be companions to the disabled.
In line with the theme, Peticular, which is one of Peregian’s newest stores catering to pampered pets, will be dressing up and accessorising some designer dogs which will strut their stuff as the catwalk becomes the dogwalk.
The event is open to all and tickets are available from local boutiques Soul Sanctuary and Pink Lotus plus online by Sticky Tickets at peregianbeach.org/foodandfashion, but make sure to book early because the event is always very popular.
