Women Shine

International Women’s Week Festival from 6 to 11 March, which will celebrate, explore and advance the diversity, contribution and changing landscape of women in our community.
Head along to one or all of these fantastic events at this years International Women’s Week Festival:
March 06 – March 30 Photographic Exhibition – Window To A Woman’s Soul at The J Noosa. 9am-5pm. Free Admission
Gain a rare glimpse inside the inner worlds of well-known and lesser known local identities including Sandy Bolton, Meg Lawrence, Toni Powell, Leanne Walsh, Andrea Kirwin, Aimee Sherriff and Dahlas and Lana Rogers. The inspiring nominees have have often overcome great odds to give back to and shape our community, economy, politics, the arts, sports and environment.
March 06 Seminar and Morning Tea – Just Don’t Shimmer, Shine in Noosaville, $15. 10am-noon. Tickets via www.windowomen.org
What does it take for women and girls to feel strong, safe, powerful and heard in our community? Five inspiring female speakers share their incredible stories and real life learnings. This great event will also include morning tea and a chance to mingle with like-minded women in the community.
March 08 Variety Show – Let’s Hear It For The Girls at The J, Noosa. Tickets $32 to $42, 7pm-9.30pm. Tickets via www.windowomen.org
A fabulously entertaining evening of inspiring and thought-provoking speakers, music, singing, dance and laughter as we celebrate the incredible diversity, contribution and changing landscape of women in our community. This will be a great all inclusive community event for women, men and teens. The speakers include: Husna Pasha (The Project), Sarah Gale (Project Runway Australia), Paul Tribe. Plus there will be so many more special performances to be announced in coming editions.
March 09 Breakfast Seminar – Creative Alliance Breakfast with Husna Pasha at Maroochydore. Tickets $35 – $45, 7.30am-9.30am. Tickets via www.windowomen.org
