A highlight of the annual Cooroy Fusion Festival is all of the entertainment including the fantastic local talent that is showcased in the Bendigo Bank Entertainment Tent. This year’s lineup is no different with Saturday 12 May looking to be a day you can bank on getting entertained thanks to the sponsorship of the Cooroy Community Bank Branch of Bendigo Bank.
The Cooroy Fusion Festival is set to bust at the seams with good vibes and great music hitting the Bendigo Bank Stage from 9.30am until 3.30pm. A comprehensive program from the Noosa District High School will kick off the entertainment on the main stage including an extract from this year’s musical, Mary Poppins. Following them will be the ever-popular Greenwood Grove Geckoes Wildlife Experience and then Brent Miller with his Welcome to Country.
Also gracing the Bendigo Bank Main Stage will be X Factor contestants The Dennis Sisters, Sambazzy, Annie J & Fusion and Miss Leading. Body painting models will also be seen on stage with the winning photos from the Australian Body Art Festival Photographic Competition Exhibition.
“We are proud to partner with Cooroy Fusion Festival as it is a showcase of all that is wonderful about Cooroy community and the Noosa hinterland and is a fantastic occasion for the kids, families and most of all, our community. These entertainers are sure to get the toes tapping and will provide a great background track to the myriad of activities that happen throughout the festival site,” said Geoff Edwards, Cooroy Community Bank branch of Bendigo Bank manager.
The entertainment in the Bendigo Bank tent is just the beginning of all the fun to be had at Cooroy Fusion Festival. Throughout the precinct will be roving entertainers including Joyologist Marc Bright, Cherry Ripes and Nova Star Productions. The Noosa Council Cooroy Library has a host of activities including a book sale, face painting, bubble art, Lego challenge, animal farm, Music2Grow, stories and songs with puppets by author, Emma Middelton and activities in the newly designed Makerspace.
