Pirates build strong relationships

THE sun may have just set on the 2014 season but the Noosa Pirates is already looking forward to the 2015 season.
The announcement of a renewed $3000 sponsorship from the Tewantin Community Bank Branch of Bendigo Bank certainly helps with motivation.
The announcement was made at the Pirates’ presentation night last Saturday and club president Nick Webster said the sponsorship will help with planning for the coming season.
“It makes our planning so much easier and we continue to see this sponsorship as a great fit for the Pirates and for Bendigo Bank,” he said.
Nick said the club has enjoyed a great relationship with Bendigo Bank over the years, which has helped the club improve facilities such as the clubhouse patio.
Tewantin Community Bank branch manager Wayne Hoens said it is an honour to help such a team.
“From the playing field to the clubhouse the Noosa Pirates are a team made up of some special locals, and they continue to build their teams from the ground up,” he said.
“They’re always a joy to deal with and we look forward to building on the strong relationship we have with the Pirates again next season.”
