Parkridge Noosa transformation impresses local property industry identity

It’s been four years since Jerry O’Reilly sold one of Noosa’s last remaining medium density sites to Rob McCready and Alex Rigby from Altum Property Group and it’s fair to say the seasoned local commercial real estate identity is impressed with the project’s achievements in such a short space in time.

“I was engaged to sell the property in my former role with Savills and it’s fair to say that the 5.3ha site had some challenges, including the fact that it faces west, which was met with resistance from a number of potential investors and developers.

“When I first presented the site to Rob and Alex they knew it well as they are locals and spent time playing and camping in the area when they were growing up. As developers they knew they could turn the site into a quality residential development through outstanding design and planning, high quality landscaping and a range of
community amenities.

“I think Altum Property Group under the stewardship of Rob and Alex deserve a lot of praise for their achievements at Parkridge Noosa. They both saw the beauty in the site’s expansive panoramic views of Lake Weyba as well as its close proximity to the Noosa Springs golf resort and the fact that it is surrounded by national
park which ensures it will never be built out.

“The sale was the last I undertook during my time at Savills and it’s one that I look back on with great pride now that I can see what two local young developers have created. They have turned what could have been considered an ugly duckling into something quite special, to record $140m in sales since November 2017 is an amazing result
in any market.

“It’s fair to say that I get a lot of pride when I see the all the advertising for Parkridge Noosa because just a few years ago it was a development site with a lot of potential and today it’s home to a high quality estate with a range of home sites on offer from $660,000 right through to over $4.4 million,” Jerry said.

Parkridge Noosa recently released a Super Penthouse which has been designed by award winning local architects, Blackburne Jackson. The 400m2 home features 298m2 of internal floor space and around 101m2 of balcony, including one which is 23.5 metres long.

Altum Property Group director Alex Rigby said the penthouse features three vast balcony spaces enveloping the home which enables residents and guests to capture the sun on all sides throughout the day, while the home’s secure four car garage is a very rare find in any apartment development.

“The Penthouse features four bedrooms, plus a study and a media room, three bathrooms including a powder room and a massive chef’s kitchen which includes a 5 metre stone kitchen island bench and a spacious working Butler’s Pantry while two full height wine fridges are ideal for wine connoisseurs,” Alex said.

The Parkridge Noosa display suite is open to the public from 10am to 2pm daily. For more information, visit:
