SOME 25 years after it all began, Australia’s greatest jazz musicians will again make their annual pilgrimage to Noosa’s jazz party for a packed program of live music across Queensland’s Sunshine Coast.
Hosted by the Noosa Jazz Club, this four-day event will entertain throngs of music lovers with the best traditional, improvised jazz from Thursday through Sunday, 1 to 4 September.
Each night of the festival offers six live ensemble performances over six hours from 5pm at The J Theatre. By day, the program provides a series of lunch-time shows to 3pm at some of the Sunshine Coast’s finest restaurants, as well as a free afternoon outdoor concert, between 2pm and 4pm, bringing live jazz to a waterfront park stage for the last day of the event.
Arriving at festival venues is easy from across the Noosa area, with ample parking and public transport, as well as a shuttle-service available to most venues.
