It’s music music and more… music

The Easter long weekend is here and Noosa has it covered with an array of cool, live tunes to keep you entertained.
On the top of the must-see list is Carl Wockner. Recently signed to Possum/Universal Records and still beaming from his win at the International Acoustic Music Awards (IAMA). Singer songwriter Carl will take to the stage at Sunshine Beach Surf Club on Easter Sunday 5 April from 3pm.
Carl recently nabbed the top honours for his single Crayon Days at the IAMA, going down in history as the first Australian artist to win the overall competition with top place in the AAA category.
Anyone wanting to party-on should head to the SODA nightclub, Noosa Reef Hotel, with a list of top DJs spinning the tunes throughout the long weekend including DJ, performer and “creative genius” ‘Brooklyn’ on Saturday 4 April, from 9pm.
Brooklyn has her sights set on being Australia’s next big superstar having played at a list of major parties throughout the country and landing a residency at Platinum Nightclub on the Gold Coast.
Also Café Le Monde won’t disappoint with live performances from Thursday to Sunday, rounding out the weekend with Jazz Coogan and Sunday Funday on Sunday 5 April, from 3pm.
Local musicians Janice and Grant Byrne, known as the ‘Janice J Duo’, will perform at the Tewantin Noosa RSL on Thursday 2 April from 7pm, while country music lovers will enjoy Mick Shipley’s performance on Saturday 4 April, from 8pm.
