FASHION meets function as Hasting Street’s Blue Illusion Noosa joins forces with United Synergies to help raise funds for the Younger Parents Program.
The fund-raising event will be an opportunity for Blue Illusion to showcase their new season looks with all proceeds going directly to the community organisation.
The Younger Parent Program provides parents and parents-to-be who are under 25, the opportunity to meet with peers and engage in educational, well-being and life skills courses on a weekly basis.
Younger Parents Program co-ordinator Deb Evans said the program assisted young people to develop connections with other young parents and develop positive parenting and relationship skills.
“The program also helps to reduce isolation experienced by young parents and links participants with community support and services,” she said.
“We can also assist young people to develop links to obtain education, employment and/or training.”
The fashion show will be held in-store at Blue Illusion Noosa, shop 2, 42 Hastings Street, Noosa Heads, on 5 September from 2pm.
Nibbles and champagne will be available so RSVP to allow for catering, 5447 5570.
