SUNDAY 2 October saw the Noosa Nippers hit the beach for the first time for the 2016-2017 season.
Nearly 500 Nippers turned up for a perfect morning on Noosa Main Beach.
The sun was beating down and the water was crystal clear.
The lack of swell gave the new under-five recruits a gentle introduction to surf lifesaving.
Noosa Nipper memberships are still open online until the end of the month so anyone who wants to stay safe on beaches should sign up now.
For more information phone the club office on 5448 0900.
Safe and sunny
