Have your say on Noosa Civic

NOOSA Council is calling for the community to have their say on the proposed Noosa Civic expansion from today (Monday, 6 July).
Noosa Council Planning and Environment Manager Kerri Coyle said the public notification period would close on 30 July.
Ms Coyle said the proposal comprised approximately 30,000 square metres of additional and reconfigured retail floor space linked to the southeast of the existing centre.
It includes two supermarkets, a discount department store and 1000 additional car parking spaces.
Ms Coyle said applicant QIC this week responded to council’s information request, made after the application was lodged back in December.
“Once the public notification period ends the application will go before council for a decision, which is likely to be later in the year,“ Ms Coyle said.
Submissions can be made online from Monday via Noosa Council’s YourSay Noosa portal at yoursay.noosa.qld.gov.au
