LET’S DO … Beaujolais Nouveau

Aromas Noosa is bringing the iconic French celebration Beaujolais Nouveau to Hastings Street in 2017.
The French celebrate the arrival of the Beaujolais Nouveau wine season on the third Thursday of November each year, as the first red wine made from the favourite Gamay grapes is released on this date.
Head chef Jules Santisi said: “It’s about easy fresh food that’s perfect for a celebration. We are arranging a sharing menu similar to a French family celebration, and we look forward to welcoming everyone.”
– Enjoy a French-style shared dinner with matching wines.
– Delicious French entrees such as a seafood charcuterie.
– Mains include lamb shoulder, whole boned chicken, salad bowls and roast vegetables.
– Finishing off the evening on a decadent note is a chocolate marquise.
The event will be held on Thursday 16 November, from 6.30pm, and the cost is $95 per person.
