Uppman and his… Uppbeats

PETER Uppman and his Uppbeats are set to have The J jumping once again this weekend.
A big hit at The J’s annual picnic, Peter and the gang are back for their next show at the J with a traditional jazz line up of Paul Williams reeds, Jo Bloomfield piano, Mike Hawthorn trombone, Dave Burrows guitar and Duncan MacQueen on drums.
Peter Uppman’s multi award-winning style is instantly recognisable, with the artist receiving accolade after accolade for his work as an international performer, songwriter and recording artist. Australian-born, Peter began learning trumpet at the age of 13. A professional performer of more than 25 years Peter now has an extensive repertoire that encompassing all styles of jazz, rock, pop, country and Latin.
He also possesses the unique ability to communicate with his audiences, utilising humour combined with superb musicianship.
Having worked with dozens of internationally renowned artists, Peter has also been featured many times on national television, radio and countless media publications, with several of his albums selling via major outlets worldwide.
