Become a performing artist

Every wanted to be a performer? Now is your chance.

The D.I.V.E Theatre Collective and Anywhere Theatre Festival wants people to be part of a collaborative performing arts project called

“Stories of Dis.place.ment”

The free project involves a practical workshop and performance and there will be plenty of opportunities to play and share a vision of a theatre beyond language.

The group are a collective of theatre practitioners from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds who want to explore and create work in contemporary theatre.

There are no auditions, but people need to be aged 18 years and over and commit to participate in both the workshop and the performance. Actors, musicians, visual artists, dancers, students and performing arts enthusiasts welcome to join.

Register by 15 May by email at divecollective@gmail.com and go along to the workshop on Saturday 19 May from 9am to 3pm at the Butter Factory Arts Centre, 11 Maple Street, Cooroy.

The performance will be on Saturday 26 May from 10am to 12pm at Cooroy, meeting at the Butter Factory Arts Centre.
