On trend and oh so tasty

By Margaret Maccoll

Sunshine Beach’s latest on-trend eatery Sum Yung Guys opened on Thursday with a showcase of delicious tapas and some smashing cocktails.
The young guys behind the restaurant name who hail from the Noosa area met while working together at Bistro C Restaurant at Noosa Heads.
Since then Matt Sinclair has gained celebrity status as the 2016 runner-up of Channel 10 television series MasterChef.
Matt’s partners in the venture include Dylan Campbell who will run front of house, Jeremiah Jones and Michael ‘Moe’ Rickard.
Moe recently wound up his Brisbane Eat Street Market business, Ten Piece Cutlery.
The restaurant has a casual elegance and a share-style menu with an emphasis on modern Asian cuisine.
