Foam, facts and the perfect brew

CALLING all coffee lovers. Anyone who has ever wanted to know how to brew the perfect coffee or create stunning foam art now has the chance to learn the tricks of the trade thanks to the Clandestino Roasters Coffee Courses this weekend.
The classes are ideal for anyone who wants to become a professional barista or just wants to learn how to make first class coffee with their at-home machine.
Clandestino Roasters baristas have been busy honing their artisan skills and are ready to share their craft with avid coffee drinkers.
This Saturday 16 July, there will be a series of coffee courses held at Belmondos, 59 Rene Street, Noosaville.
The Intro to Espresso Barista Course
The two-hour course starts at 8am and will teach students all the basics of great coffee making from pouring techniques to getting the grind just right. The cost is $220 per person.
The Home Barista Course
This class starts at 10.30am and will run for an hour and a half, during which participants will learn how to create delicious coffee at home using their coffee machine. Techniques taught will include how to adjust the grinder for the perfect extraction. The cost is $160 per person.
The Latte Art Barista Course
Stop admiring the amazing foam art of trainer baristas and learn to do it yourself. This one-hour course starts at 1.30pm and will teach you how to choose the right milk to create stunning latte art. The cost is $146 per person.
The Filter Brewing Course
Learn how to brew the perfect cup with the filter brewing course. This one-hour course starts at 3pm and will teach participants just how to get the perfect ratios when it comes to brewing coffee. The cost is $170 per person.
