Eumundi chef Bryce and his wife Renee have imagined running their own little Italian restaurant for years. Taking over the space on the corner of Memorial Drive in Eumundi, the couple have created a warm and friendly new place to hang out – and the food is pretty amazing too.
If you are lover of true, authentic Italian cooking, then you will love Il Mio Posto. Using quality produce and home-made fluffy pizza bases means you will really notice the difference after eating. No more heavy feelings afterwards just nourished and satisfied.
Serving up old favourites such as carbonara, gnocchi, tagliatelle and pizza, Bryce changes things up just enough to keep the flavours fresh and exciting. King prawns tossed through the tagliatelle with capers, chilli, garlic, white wine and fresh tomato with rocket will have you feeling as though you’ve stepped into Roma.
Succulent and tender calamari entree or The Paddock pizza loaded with confit onion, roasted field mushrooms, fontina, pecorino, garlic, thyme and truffle oil will conjure up thoughts of Naples.
Bryce and Renee are so thrilled that the restaurant has become a space for locals to gather or bump into each other. It’s a bit of a social affair at Il Mio Posto.
