Art’s wild at heart

THREE artists have teamed up to present to the public an exhibition that will celebrate their passion for all animals big and small, domestic and wild.
Natalie Barlow, Fiona Groom and Janet Carew are proud to announce their exhibition at the Butter Factory, Cooroy, that also coincides with World Animal Day and will help raise funds for the Sunshine Coast Animal Refuge (SCAR) with part proceeds from each painting sold going to the charity.
To help celebrate World Animal Day on 1 October SCAR will bring puppies to the Butter Factory and there will also be face painting for children for a gold coin donation that will go directly to the refuge.
Supporters can find out how to adopt a pet, learn how they can help as a volunteer to save animals, and purchase animal art and animal-themed clothes.
The opening of the exhibition is on Saturday 17 September, at 1pm, and the exhibition runs until 26 October.
Art lovers will see the three artists are quite diverse in what they paint, which makes for a wonderful exhibition.
Natalie has a love of painting birds, Fiona is inspired by painting African animals and Janet’s stunning paintings of dogs show how they are all creative in their own way.
For any inquiries call the Butter Factory on 5442 6665.
