Tastebuds for the treats

By JOLENE OGLE

MORE than 30 Tourism Noosa volunteers were lucky enough to taste-test sweet treats on Tuesday in the lead-up to the Noosa Junction Flava Food Fest.
Kicking off on Saturday, the Noosa Junction Flava Food Fest will showcase the Junction’s favourite food spots, which the volunteers all got to taste-test during their special sneak peak.
The festival will be held in Arcadia Street, Noosa Junction, from 11am to 5pm, this Saturday and will feature something for everyone with sweet and savoury treats available.
To stay affordable for the whole community, costs have been kept to a minimum with food tickets on sale from the booth or roving ticket sellers from just $3, with the average food and drink prices around $6.
There is also a free entertainment program catering for all ages, and families can bring a rug, sit back and enjoy the live music.
Don’t miss out on the annual community event that will take your tastebuds on a trip around the world and back.
