THE Noosa Heads Surf Club is hosting a meet and greet event for 10 British and 10 Australian war veterans through the Mates4Mates organisation on Monday 18 May from 6.30pm-7.30pm.
The veterans will share some of their stories and the Surf Club will make a special presentation to the veterans.
Members of the public are invited to attend to support and make a donation to Mates4Mates. To book, contact the Noosa Heads Surf Club on 5474 5688.
There will also be a golf day on Tuesday 19 May and an auction after the golf to raise money for Mates4Mates, with items available such as a 1934 signed Don Bradman bat and a signed Matthew Hayden cricket bat.
