THE Sunshine Beach Surf Club has proven to be mighty as the team prepare for an induction into the Hall of Fame.
The small club claimed the trifecta earlier this month when it was awarded Best Surf Life Saving Supporters Club Award for the third year in a row at the annual Keno and Clubs Queensland Awards for Excellence.
Club president Warwick Redwood said the win was due to a great management team and listening to the community.
“I think it comes down to listening to the community and ticking all the boxes that they wanted,” Mr Redwood said.
“We’ve had a great management team and have headed in a good direction for the past six years.”
“We’re looking forward to being inducted into the Hall of Fame next year and will take the team with us to the awards.”
