Flavour of night markets

THE Noosa Junction Twilight Markets are back again this Friday night (19 August) and for the first time local business is helping support the event through sponsorship.
The Lanyana Way home, gift and interior design business CLO Studios will sponsor the 19 August markets in what is a first for the event.
Noosa Junction Association president Carole Tretheway said it was great to see a new local business ready and willing to invest in the Junction.
“We’ve had great support since our first market last November from Noosa Council, Hindmarsh Properties and surrounding businesses, but CLO Studios has taken that support to another level by becoming the first local business to sponsor a market night,” Carole said.
“The Twilight Market is such a celebration of local FLAVA with its unique village vibe. We hope other businesses will follow CLO Studio’s lead and get involved.”
CLO Studios is a family collaboration where artist and designer Chloe works alongside interior designer Mum, Trudy.
“We chose Noosa Junction to launch our new business because of its local community feel. There’s a real energy building here too and we’re pleased to be a part of that,” Chloe said.
“From the outset we wanted to be involved in the Junction precinct. We’ve watched the Twilight Markets grow and see how the locals catch up with each other each month.
“We thought sponsoring the markets was the perfect way to say thankyou to our local clientele who have been so supportive of us. We are actually having a renovation sale this weekend as we are expanding our studio into the shop next door. We’ll be closed very briefly during these works.”
The Noosa Junction Twilight Markets are every third Friday of the month from 5pm and this month popular local performer Hari Bandhu is back to entertain the crowds and the Flava Bar is also open for business.
Stall holders, artists and performers interested in being part of the Twilight Markets should email market manager Judi on junctionflava@gmail.com.
