The secret is out

CAN you keep a secret? We can’t! A much-talked about and elusive dining experience is set to hit Noosa and we can’t wait to tell you about it.
Culinary event extraordinaire Secret Foodies are launching their unique, surprise dining experience in Noosa next month.
This will be the first time the popular event will be held in Queensland, with the first event happening at a secret location in Noosa on Wednesday 6 July.
Food lovers with a sense of adventure are invited to a secret themed dinner party with the location only revealed to guests two hours before the event via text message.
Past Secret Foodies events have been held in various restaurants and random locations including a rooftop, laneway, warehouse and even a farmyard barn.
The theme of the event is always different, ranging from a regional French dinner, to a truffle degustation, a pop-up picnic, a Marie Antoinette themed Champagne party and more.
What we can tell you is that the Noosa event’s theme is Italy: North Vs South. Organisers say guests can expect an elegant venue, great conversation and delicious food inspired by Italy’s European neighbours in the north and the spectacular Mediterranean in the south.
Secret Foodies founder Alex Adams said the events were designed for people of all ages who enjoyed great food and loved meeting new people.
“Secret Foodies is perfect for anyone who wants to meet new people, try new places and eat delicious food,” Alex said.
Curious foodies can get involved by visiting the Secret Foodies website and purchasing their tickets at www.secretfoodies.com.au. Tickets are $115 per person which includes canapes and an aperitivo on arrival, plus a three-course meal with matched wines.
