HELD at Sheraton Noosa Resort and Spa, the event saw the likes of Mark Darin, Todd Widdicombe, Lincoln Lewis, Chris Flannery, Matt Filippi, Peter Kuruvita, Brennon Dowrick, Matt Adamson, Stephen Priestly and Richie Geron strut their stuff which got raffled off in the name of charity.
Masterchef’s talented Ashleigh Bareham was also there to support the event.
Mix FM’s GM5FK appeal sees an array of fund-raising throughout the month of June for the needs of local paediatric patients.
To date, more than $30 million has been raised for invaluable medical equipment and to provide support for families with sick children.
This is the ninth year the luncheon has been held in Noosa and MIX F’s GM5FK co-ordinator Krystal Moore wished to thank all those getting behind the local fund-raising initiative.
“We have once again received an overwhelming amount of support for this year’s event, which was completely sold out,” Krystal said.
“Each year, it just keeps getting bigger and bigger.
“Most of the people in this room are parents, and I think everyone wants to support sick children in their local community when they can, and that certainly reflects here today.”
While attendees recover from a fantastic afternoon of bubbly, good food and even better company, organisers are already preparing for next year where another impressive selection of celebrities are set to appear.
