Tried and tested Indian cuisine

By Hollie Harris

BOMBAY Bliss in Tewantin is authentic Indian cuisine backed by more than 10 years of experience.
The team at Bombay Bliss pride themselves on creating mouth-watering, authentic, high-quality Indian meals, served alongside friendly and efficient service.
Cooked to traditional Indian recipes, no dietary requirement is left uncatered for at Bombay Bliss, with most meals available as vegetarian, plus the bread is yeast-free and egg-free, all curries are gluten-free, there is no added MSG and most meals are available in mild, medium or hot.
A wide range of Indian dishes are available including the ever-popular butter chicken, beef vindaloo and lamb korma, plus a few special dishes such as ricotta croquettes – a combination of fluffy potato and home-made cheese filled with cheddar cheese and mild spices, then crumbed and deep fried.
For the seafood lover, there is the Prawn Bliss, featuring prawns lightly marinated in garlic, ginger, lemon juice and spices, then simmered in a creamy tomato gravy with crushed almonds, cashews and a hint of butter.
Plus, there are everyday savings to be had at Bombay Bliss such as the Bliss Meal including any regular curry, regular rice, naan bread and papadum for just $19.99, or the quick meal including a half curry, rice and papadum for only $9.99.
If you have a hungry hoard to feed, then the Aussie Family Pack with an entree, two regular curries, two regular rice, tamarind and mint chutneys, raita, two naan bread, four papadum and one dessert is only $43.99.
Bombay Bliss is located at 86-94 Poinciana Avenue, Tewantin, and is open seven days with take-away and BYO available. Phone 5449 9889 to book a table tonight.
