Indian cuisine bliss

By Hollie Harris

CURRY lovers across Noosa Shire are fast becoming regulars of the beautiful and authentic dishes created by Bombay Bliss in Tewantin.
The team at Bombay Bliss pride themselves on creating mouth-watering, high-quality Indian meals, served alongside friendly and efficient service.
With more than 10 years of experience cooking authentic Indian cuisine, the chefs prepare dishes cooked to traditional Indian recipes.
No dietary requirement is left uncatered for at Bombay Bliss, with most meals available as vegetarian, plus the bread is yeast-free and egg-free, all curries are gluten-free, there is no added MSG and most meals are available in mild, medium or hot.
A wide range of Indian dishes are available including the ever-popular butter chicken, beef vindaloo and lamb korma, plus a few special dishes such as ricotta croquettes – a combination of fluffy potato and home-made cheese filled with cheddar cheese and mild spices which are then crumbed and deep fried.
For the seafood lover, the prawn bliss is unbeatable. Prawns are lightly marinated in garlic, ginger, lemon juice and spices, then simmered in a creamy tomato gravy with crushed almonds, cashews and a hint of butter.
If your mouth is watering already, get in and enjoy the everyday savings to be had at Bombay Bliss such as the Bliss Meal which includes any regular curry, regular rice, naan bread and papadum for just $19.99, or the quick meal including a half curry, rice and papadum for only $9.99.
If you have a hungry horde to feed, then the Aussie Family Pack with an entree, two regular curries, two regular rice, tamarind and mint chutneys, raita, two naan bread, four papadums and one dessert for only $43.99.
Bombay Bliss is located at 86-94 Poinciana Avenue, Tewantin, and is open seven days with take-away and BYO available. Phone 5449 9889 to book a table tonight or order a take-away to enjoy at home.
