Warm smiles and tasty treats

Hot off the press – Tewantin’s hidden gem The Paperboy Cafe is serving up delicious meals and amazing coffee right under people’s noses.
The family run cafe is Tewantin’s best kept secret with mum and son duo Connie and Clark Groves quickly turning customers into regulars with a warm atmosphere, hot coffee and cool menu.
After a leap of faith Connie and Clark decided to open The Paperboy Cafe with the goal of serving the best coffee and food in the region.
Connie whips up delicious meals in the kitchen ranging from mouth-watering burgers such as the Hen‘n’Herbs, a tasty chicken burger with avocado and creamy pesto to the popular Farmer’s Breakfast which is piled high with bacon, eggs, tomato and avocado.
Connie’s American heritage shines through the specials board with a Tex Mex meets Southern influence creating indulgent sloppy joes and hickory smoked pulled pork deliciousness on a weekly basis.
While Connie is creating mouth-watering meals in the kitchen, Clark is on the coffee machine doing what he does best – making perfect cups of coffees for happy customers.
Not one to forget a name, Clark said his passion for a great cup of coffee is felt each day as he welcomes back repeat customers again and again.
The local family prides itself on supporting local business with produce and services sourced locally where possible.
So, whether enjoying a freshly squeezed juice or scoffing down a homemade brownie, customers can rest assured the food miles on the delicious treats are minimal.
Diners will be greeted with a warm smile and a familiar face as they quickly realise they have found their new favourite café on Memorial Avenue, Tewantin.
