HUSBAND and wife team Paolo and Holly bring true Italian character to all their ice-cream, sorbet and frozen yoghurt products at Gelato Classico Noosa.
Nestled in the Noosa Fair Shopping Centre next to Coles, these passionate foodies which create everything delicious onsite fresh daily, crafted in the traditional Italian artisanal way using Paolo’s Italian family recipes.
They also serve smooth organic coffee, house-made Italian lunch savouries and healthy gluten-free options, and the frozen yoghurt has already gained a following with its enriched probiotics, served alongside fresh seasonal fruit salads.
Pop by and watch them making gelati live through their unique purpose-built viewing window with their beautiful antique Italian ’EFFE’ machine where gelati ice-cream is extracted by hand and paddle as it once was some 50-years ago in Italy.
There are no secrets at Gelato Classico, here in Noosa: just fresh, creamy gelato and zinging fruit-filled sorbets produced in small batches.
Customers on Facebook have called Gelato Classico out of this world – “Don’t bother with a trip to Gympie Terrace or Hastings Street. The best gelato is in Noosa at Gelato Classico near Coles. The salted caramel is to die for,” they wrote.
Others say they “just love this place! You can always rely on Holly and Paolo for impeccable service and the perfect coffee, every time.”
Try their freshly squeezed juices, which highlight Noosa’s wonderful local fruit and veg, along with smoothies and milkshakes.
They love to support Queensland and local farmers, so they use Queensland dairy products, and they keep it so local that the passionfruit, lime, lemons, oranges, nuts, strawberries, and mandarins you will find in their products come right from the Noosa hinterland.
All the gelati and yoghurt products are gluten free, are low in sugar, use plant-based stabilisers, and all sorbets are dairy free and gluten free.
