Festive spirit despite weather

The drizzle didn't deter party goers from enjoying the magic of the Beach Tipis at the festival's opening event on Friday night.

The rainy weather didn’t stop the fun at the Noosa Food and Wine Festival opening party on Main beach. Among the crowd at the Beach Tipis were top chefs Peter Kuruvita and Frank Camorra, Food and Wine organiser Maria Crews and mayor Tony Wellington and councillor Jess Glasgow kicking off the weekend event with a bang.
All in all, a successful event despite the drizzle with 3500 visitors to The Noosa Woods event who were able to visit 47 stalls and get to know the festival chefs a bit better and see the region’s winemakers go head to head on the main stage.
