Good sports take courts by storm

IT was a hard slog for the Noosa representative netball teams at the recent Representation Netball Carnival with the teams having to battle the players and the weather. From rain and muddy grounds to steamy courts and then brilliant sunshine, the girls worked hard to gain some great results. The 13-year-old girls took out first place, while the 12-year-olds won second place and the U13s came runner-up. By all reports, it was a great day. The last carnival of the representative season is the two day Country Carnival at Tweed Heads on 6 and 7 August. Good luck to all of the competing teams.
