Soweto voices rise into the night

NOOSA is about to heat up when the two-time Grammy Award winning Soweto Gospel Choir hit the stage at The J.
Direct from South Africa, the choir will perform a selection of tribal, gospel and contemporary songs on Wednesday 31 August at 7.30pm.
The Soweto Gospel Choir was formed in November 2002 and by December that same year its first album Voices of Heaven was recorded and went on to reach the number one spot on Billboard’s World Music Chart within three weeks of its release in the US.
More recently the choir performed for and with Pharrell Williams when he toured South Africa in September last year.
Don’t miss this one-night-only show.
Head along to The J, 60 Noosa Drive, Noosa Heads, on Wednesday 31 August.
Call and book tickets on 5329 6560.
