THE Lions are coming! Tourism Noosa has announced the Brisbane Lions have chosen Noosa as the destination for their pre-season camp for the 2015 season.
Tourism Noosa described the decision as a “coup” for Noosa, reinforcing Noosa’s profile as a destination for elite athletes.
The camp will see 45 players plus management visit Noosa in early December for training and team-building activities.
Tourism Noosa CEO Damien Massingham said many sporting groups, including the British and Irish Lions and the GWS Giants had chosen Noosa for their training.
“We are excited to welcome the Brisbane Lions to Noosa and know the Noosa community will extend a warm welcome to Noosa, to the team,” he said.
