The peace and tranquility of leafy, sunny Arcadia Street seems to permeate the waiting room and corridors of the street’s newest health service, Ripple Psychology. Even as you sip on your iced water awaiting your appointment with either Dave or Melita, the clinic’s two psychologists who own and operate the service, you could be forgiven for thinking you’d wandered into a quiet day spa, as the soothing background jazz accompanies the dappled, filtered sunlight that flickers through the tinted glass or down the striking skylights in each consulting room. Having operated out of substandard, noisy or cramped offices for many years, the husband and wife team were determined to secure a purpose-built venue that encouraged and promoted inner calm, equilibrium and relaxed comfort. They have certainly succeeded in that quest, and if you are considering working on your own tranquility and quality of life, why not pop into the unattended waiting rooms at the top of the stairs in Arcadia Street?
