New wardrobe of clothing

THE party season is here, and the Another Woman’s Closet community event is giving local fashionistas the chance to get a whole new wardrobe without breaking the bank or impacting the environment.
This Sunday 4 December is the inaugural clothing market event where stallholders will depart with their preloved clothing with an emphasis on fashion for this festive season and summer wear.
All of the clothing on offer has been finely curated – meaning there will be nothing that is stained, torn, damaged or needing repair. It’s well loved and well cared for preloved and brand new clothing, all washed and on hangars ready for purchasing.
Winner of the Sunshine Coast Style Awards 2016 and radio celebrity Carlie Wacker will be there to pass on some of her gorgeous pieces, along with local fashionista Claire Marston.
Labels on sale include Hugo Boss, Calvin Klein, Sportsgirl, Country Road and more, along with sizes XXS – XL and sizes 6 – 18 and prices from just $1.
In addition, Another Woman’s Closet will also be collecting socks and jocks, bras and undies and face moisturiser, all of which will go to Orange Sky Laundry for distribution to the homeless. These are the most needed things which can bring a sense of dignity in the simplest of ways.
Event organisers are expecting a large turnout for the first Another Woman’s Closet event and recommend wearing a seamless bikini or one-piece swimsuit for ease when trying on lots of clothes.
The Another Woman’s Closet will be held at the Peregian Beach Community House, 255 David Low Way, Peregian Beach, on Sunday 4 December from 8am to midday.
