Venue’s running hot

Entering their 13 year, Wasabi Restaurant and Bar continues to provide a unique, regional dining experience.
This year they retained their Two Chefs Hats and were awarded the title of Queensland’s Hottest Restaurant in The Australian’s Hottest 50 Restaurants for the third year running.
Wasabi are extremely excited to present their latest venture – The Cooking School Noosa offers exclusive classes with chefs both from our own restaurant as well as guest chefs from around the country.
Located on the beautiful Noosa River and overlooking the Noosa Sound Park, classes are suitable for everyone, home cooks to qualified chefs and those who are rarely found in the kitchen but are keen to learn more.
With talented chefs in their kitchen, highly skilled in a variety of cuisines and cooking techniques, this cooking school does not limit itself to contemporary Japanese classes but also covers classic French and modern South East Asian cuisines as well as a brand new Noosa regional class.
The Cooking School Noosa’s newest addition, their ‘Noosa Regional Class’ showcases the amazing ingredients that are produced right on our doorstep.
A combination of ingredients grown at The Cooking School Noosa’s own farm ‘Honeysuckle Hill’, at Pomona, and other amazing local products including fresh seafood caught by local fisherman and trawlers, Noosa Reds Tomatoes, Kenilworth Yogurt and South Burnett Olive Oil and Olives, to just name a few.
These exceptional ingredients are crafted together to form a menu that truly represents the Sunshine Coast local food scene. The Cooking School Noosa is proud to present a class that gives a true sense of place on the plate.
Classes run from 9am to 2.30pm and include a three-course meal with premium beverages hand selected by their sommelier, The Cooking School Noosa apron and a recipe book.
Shorter mini masterclasses are also available as well as full day farm-to-table experiences, so there really is something for everyone.
When not in use, The Cooking School Noosa easily transforms into Ibento Boutique Event Space, an elegant, versatile venue suitable for small to midsized events. Enjoy exclusive use of the space and dine on menus created by the team at Wasabi Restaurant and Bar including French, South East Asian and Japanese cuisines. A senior Wasabi chef will cook and present the meal right in from of you and a dedicated waiter will attend to every need.
To book go to www.thecookingschoolnoosa.com or call 07 5449 2443.
