Tourists, locals reslish markets

NOOSA and surrounding regions are famous for delicious local produce and impressive products, drawing thousands of tourists yearly just to experience a taste of Noosa.
With so much on offer, make sure you check out the many local markets across the region, each with their own unique atmosphere and stalls.
Noosa Farmers’ Markets
Right here in Noosa local growers and producers meet each Sunday at the Noosa Australian Football Club, Weyba Road, Noosaville, between 7am and noon to showcase some of the finest and freshest produce in the region.
Nestled amid fragrant gumtrees you will find some of the best stalls boasting organic produce, freshly squeezed juice, sumptuous marinades and creamy cheeses. You will also find some of the most delicious breakfast options at the markets so be warned; do not eat before heading to the Noosa Farmers’ Markets.
Yandina Markets
If you love plants, then you’ll love the Yandina Markets. Held each Saturday from 7am to noon on North Street, Yandina, you’ll find the occasional antique seller and second-hand book stall scattered between clusters of lush greenery.
You’ll find many bargains to keep your green-thumb busy with everything from leafy greens to sweet succulents on sale at a good price.
Eumundi Markets
Although the Eumundi Markets are a tourist hotspot most of the year, the great range of stalls and local produce make it a worthwhile experience. You’ll find everything from delicious foodstalls to healing therapies as you wind your way through the endless stalls. Open each Wednesday from 8am to 1.30pm and each Saturday from 7am to 2pm, the drive is worth it if you enjoy browsing unique handmade items and eating yummy treats.
Peregian Beach Markets
More of a creative’s market than a foodie’s haven, Peregian Beach Markets fall on the first and third Sunday of each month between 7am and 12.30pm. If buying gifts is on your weekend to-do list, then make this your new open-air shopping destination. Homewares, fashion, vintage knick-knacks, it’s all here.
Marcoola Market
Marcoola Market is relaxed Friday evening celebration of food, music and good times. Enjoy the best international flavours at the beachside market where a vacant block in the middle of town turns into a relaxed, fairy-light covered food fiesta every Friday evening from 4pm to 8pm. Once a week, you can enjoy Mexican, Thai, Bavarian, Japanese – all in the one place.
