Sirocco held their first saga of our quarterly event “Tastes of Sirocco”on Friday the 2 March featuring a three course banquet of the region of Greece. The entrée was an individual spanakopita and beetroot labne, kataifi wrapped prawn with honey sesame. The main course was the Greek classic lamb moussaka, which received rave reviews taking some regulars down memory lane. To finish, they served a modern version of Loukamades; Greek doughnuts with a salted caramel sauce a creamy white chocolate ice cream and a crispy macadamia baklava. All those exquisite flavours for only $49 per person. They have already planned their next event for 13 July – a French night to coincide with Bastille day, so mark that one in your culinary calendar.
Sirocco’s dishes offered as part of their popular $28, two-course lunch or early bird special (entrée and main) are created and changed monthly based on produce seasonality, the lunch special comes with a glass of wine and can be followed up with a house made dessert and coffee for that extra special Dining experience. Their pizza’s have proven even more popular with their latest special; the best duck pizza you will ever have, plus two drinks and choice of either a rocket salad or chips, all for only $39.90.
They have free BYO on Wednesday and Thursday nights and every second Sunday of the month is Sirocco’s seafood platter lunch for $64.50. The platter for two comes with a glass of bubbly (each) and showcases fresh and local seafood.
